In March, VETS Electrical undertook a massive electrical upgrade at the Edmonton Construction Association, upgrading their existing electrical frame work in their 4886 square foot office building. This project ran from March until May 2016 and included a large scope of work ranging from demolition of existing electrical as well as additions to the current distribution equipment.
VETS Electrical was also entrusted to upgrade the existing lighting infrastructure to include new fixtures, occupancy sensors and switches. This will allow the ECA to save on their annual energy consumption, reduce their carbon foot print and at the same time will improve the aesthetic appeal of the building.
In addition to this, VETS Electrical was responsible to improve safety in the building which included installation of emergency lighting fixtures and a new communications system. This ensured the safety of their employees is not compromised in an emergency.
